Hunting Island State Park, South Carolina

One of my favorite places on earth!

Hunting Island is a 5,000-acre secluded semitropical barrier island located 15 miles east of Beaufort, South Carolina, USA.

The fishing pier
Spanish Moss with red berries!
Spanish Moss
Oyster Shells
Soon to be petrified wood!  LOL
The dunes are protecting the beach from eroding further.
beach, beach, beach...
Sea oats...They are keeping the sand in place and preventing erosion of the beach...
Palmetto Trees...Not palm trees.
Spanish Moss

Old bikes are perfect for riding on the beach with the tides is out...
